This home is located in the Rosedale district of Austin and belongs to a family of 4 with 2 small boys. The home is legally historic which always adds additional challenges to the project process. We wanted to keep the character and charm of the original home design, but jazz it up a bit with fun colors and patterns. All selections were made keeping the family functionality in mind so many of the fabrics and rugs are constructed with durable and easy to clean materials. The homeowners requested we incorporate their existing grey sofa, rust colored dining chairs, the Master bed and steel nightstands, and Art in the Master. These were great jumping off points for style and color direction.
